LOCAL SUPPORT GROUPS

• Youth Services Glenview Northbrook: Pride Youth Program

  Pride Youth – Youth Services of Glenview/Northbrook (ysgn.org)

  The Pride Youth Program offers social support and leadership programming for more than 250 LGBTQ+ youth ages 4-24 and their families from across Chicago’s northern suburbs. Our prideCONNECT, prideSUPPORT, and prideLEAD programs offer a variety of opportunities for lesbian, gay, bisexual, and/or transgender youth and youth who are questioning their sexual and/or gender identities to build relationships, get support, and lead their communities. The Pride Youth Program is guided by our core values: inclusion, hope, non-punitive accountability, partnership, and responsiveness.

• PINWHEELS

  Pinwheels is a network of families embracing their children’s and teen’s gender creativity in a kind and loving manner. Our support group focuses on providing a monthly meeting place for parents to connect with other families by sharing information and experiences.

  PFLAG Council of Northern Illinois (pflagillinois.org)

  Meets SECOND Thursday at 7:00 pm

  Join us on the 2nd Thursday of every month on Zoom from 7 pm to 9 pm for the PTI Chicago Monthly Chapter Meeting. Members will receive an e-mail the weekend before the Zoom meeting with the Zoom link and password to enter the meeting. Anyone, who is not a member and is the parent or family member of a transgender, non-binary, or gender non-conforming individual who wishes to participate should e-mail pflagptichicago@pflagillinois.org.
